You should have known How to change template in Blogger using the template provided by Blogger, as we have discussed it before. At today’s post, we will discuss How To Change Template with Custom Template in Blogger.
As mentioned before, to change template in Blogger, we can use the templates provided by Blogger, our own templates (custom templates), the templates from free Blogger template providers, or we can buy the premium templates.
One of the free templates providers is blogger templates gallery, where hundreds of Blogger templates can be downloaded for free. While premium templates, for instance, are available here at Fresh Revolution template.
- Download first the template you are interested in using it for your blog at one of the free template providers you have known or as mentioned above, blogger templates gallery.
- Notice that the template file you have downloaded is usually the compressed file (as zip or rar), so you need to extract it using the extractor program you have, e.g. WinZip or WinRar, or you can extract it online at Wobzip.
- The extracted file will contain a file with extension .xml. That’s the file that you will upload then to Blogger.
- Please login to Blogger with your ID
- Click Design.
- Click Edit HTML.
- Do the backup to your old template. Click Download Full Template.
- Click Browse.., and then select the downloaded template file with xml extension. Click Upload.
- When you see a warning telling you about widget deletion, click KEEP WIDGETS.
- Done
Now see. Your blog appearance should be cooler than before.
