Now, let’s discuss How to create post with Read more in Blogger.Normally, a post will be displayed in full in blog, either short or long article. The problem comes when posting a long article. It will make the display of blog less attractive. The way to overcome this case is by using Read more function.
Read more function is to cut off a long article when it is displayed in the home page. When a visitor wants to read the full article, he or she has to click the Read more button. Activate Read more function also improves the page view of your blog. It’s good for your blog.
- Login to Blogger with your ID.
- Click New Post.
- Insert the title and article to publish.
- Place the cursor in the paragraph you want to cut off.
- Click Insert Jump Link ( read more ) tool.
- Click Preview, to view the display that your post would be after published
- When you are sure, click PUBLISH POST.
- Done
Now, see how the homepage of your blog. The article in which you activate the Read more should have been with Read more.
As additional note, the read more function is new feature in Blogger, so it has not supported all custom templates. If you use template from Blogger, of course, it will work properly.
